Summer Nature Days

Summer Nature Days are a series of engaging outdoor workshops designed to bring children and families together through nature-based learning, creative expression, and adventurous play. Delivered in partnership with Jokes Art Music CIC, these sessions combine the ethos of Forest School with a varied programme of activities that encourage children to explore, create, problem-solve, and build confidence in a supportive outdoor environment.

Running Monday - Wednesday 10:00am – 3:00pm, across four weeks from Monday 3rd August 2026 to Wednesday 26th August 2026, each workshop day includes a nutritious lunch and a full programme of outdoor activities designed to keep children engaged, active, and inspired.

Summer Nature Days are designed for children up to 12 years old. Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a parent/carer, or responsible adult throughout the session. Children aged 8 to 12 may attend independently as drop-off participants or choose to attend alongside an accompanying adult.

Each workshop offers a unique mix of experiences inspired by the natural world, including bushcraft, shelter building, campfire activities, nature-inspired arts and crafts, storytelling, music, games, and hands-on environmental exploration. Children are encouraged to follow their interests, work collaboratively with others, and develop practical skills while enjoying the freedom and benefits of time spent outdoors.

Our workshops are inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to families from all backgrounds. Whether your child is a confident outdoor adventurer or simply beginning their journey of connecting with nature, the sessions provide opportunities to make friends, try new activities, and create lasting memories in a safe and inspiring forest setting.

Through our collaboration with Jokes Art Music CIC, we bring together expertise in outdoor education, creativity, and community engagement to create experiences that are both fun and meaningful. Together, we aim to nurture curiosity, imagination, wellbeing, and a lifelong appreciation for the natural world.

To help make our programmes as accessible as possible, we offer discounted rates for additional siblings, exclusive discounts for Indigo members, concessionary places for eligible families, and a limited number of fully funded places available upon request, subject to availability.
